Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Crucial performance, stepped up and showed real class. Excellent keeping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. A loss might have ruined their campaign.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for player of the season. Many discuss about Arsenal players. He has been the top performer without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a wild optimist to say 'Murillo nets and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He performed brilliantly. He's becoming a powerhouse. He can really be a handful. I'm happy to see him playing like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him several occasions earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled from his faults. However with the Magpies he's been dominant. He displays immense power and powerful and appears graceful. It seems he has secured a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a defender, more of a contemporary style in attack. He has proven to be a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Few are astonished at them finding another gem from obscurity? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know what they're doing.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they're in for the identical cause. Their sides were victorious, all discuss the scorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They halt attacks, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. Numerous supporters, like my child, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to get them over the top. A hat-trick in the local rivalry and currently fans desire to erect a monument of him. Scoring, calmness, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it is very difficult to leave him out. I felt he had a great start the term, I believe he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could have got a move to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he seems to have found his footing. Two great goals clearly versus Leeds helped his club from a deficit. He was the difference maker.

Attackers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he appeared not his typical form. It seemed he'd lost a yard. However, incredible. Simply phenomenal. He shone. Brilliant in his play and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He performs strongly, often more effective off the bench, but with Gordon sidelined so he must start. He failed to convert a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. Yet possessing the psychological strength to place himself into challenging moments and net two was great.

Coach

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It might have been multiple goals for Forest and all would agree.
